Swanson’s Concrete has a 50+ year history of literally pouring the foundation of the Sunshine Coast. Acquired by the shishalh nation and tsain-ko Development Corporation 5 years ago, the company today is flourishing, as we incorporate newer technologies and processes to lessen our carbon footprint and increase our capacity to meet the demands of our growing building sector, serving clients in each major centre as well as in remote sites from Egmont to Gibsons.

Our Mining operations are a true value center, as our primary emphasis is, and has always been, focused on Skills Training & Certification, and Career Development and Enhancement for shishalh nation members. Many of our staff “graduate” into meaningful lifelong careers with our largest mining client, Heidelberg Materials, which makes all of our work worthwhile. And while we are always looking for new members to train, certify and promote, it is our greatest pleasure to see our team succeed into ever greater roles.
