Land Leases
Land Leases

The straight leasing of land is managed through the Lands Department at the shíshálh Nation directly.  They work in conjunction with other departments regarding development opportunities, and are responsible for administering 33 parcels of lands located throughout the shíshálh Nation. The land is held in fee simple and spreads over 1000 hectares, stretching from xe’nichen (the north end of Jervis inlet)  to kalp-ilin (Pender Harbour)  in the west and ch’atl-lich (Sechelt)  in the south east.  Please visit the shíshálh Nation’s Infrastructure & Government Services page to learn more about leases, licenses, permits, rights of way or any other land interests.
